Monte Hermoso recibi\u00f3 a cuatro integrantes del equipo que llev\u00f3 adelante la expedici\u00f3n \u201c\u201cOasis submarinos del Ca\u00f1\u00f3n de Mar del Plata: Talud Continental IV\u00bb, a bordo del buque R\/V Falkor (too) del Schmidt Ocean Institute que se extendi\u00f3 por 21 d\u00edas, se transmiti\u00f3 en vivo y en directo por Youtube y Twitch y alcanz\u00f3 casi 18 millones de visualizaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presenciada por grandes y chicos, la transmisi\u00f3n marc\u00f3 un hito cient\u00edfico y tecnol\u00f3gico que permiti\u00f3 descubrir 40 nuevas especies marinas y una diversidad inesperada en corales de aguas fr\u00edas en el ca\u00f1\u00f3n submarino Mar del Plata a una profundidad de 3.900 metros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuatro de sus protagonistas, Emiliano Ocampo, Nahuel Far\u00edas, Ezequiel Mabraga\u00f1a y Florencia Matusevich, estuvieron el pasado viernes 26 de septiembre en el Audit\u00f3rium del Centro de Convenciones donde brindaron una charla abierta y recibieron por parte del Concejo Deliberante, la resoluci\u00f3n N\u00b0 703 votada por unanimidad que los declar\u00f3 \u201cHu\u00e9spedes de Honor de la ciudad de Monte Hermoso\u201d en reconocimiento a \u00abla labor de excelencia y a su aporte al patrimonio natural del pa\u00eds, demostrando una vez m\u00e1s la capacidad de la ciencia argentina para realizar contribuciones de gran envergadura a nivel mundial\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
