El s\u00e1bado 24 de agosto por la noche en el Casino de Buenos Aires, el representante local Neri Mu\u00f1oz se adjudic\u00f3 el t\u00edtulo del mundo en la categor\u00eda Gold Ligero AMB tras derrotar en una impresionante pelea al canadiense Chann Thonson por nocaut t\u00e9cnico en el d\u00e9cimo round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La pelea se convirti\u00f3 en una de las m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de su carrera, pero en un despliegue de gran habilidad logr\u00f3 derribar a su contrincante dos veces en el noveno asalto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La tercera ca\u00edda fue definitiva, poniendo fin al combate en el d\u00e9cimo asalto y arrebat\u00e1ndole el r\u00e9cord invicto de 16-0 por KO al canadiense.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mu\u00f1oz comienza a proyectar su carrera en la puerta grande de la AMB, donde retom\u00f3 la senda en marzo de este a\u00f1o al derrotar por nocaut en el cuarto round a Ramiro Mart\u00ednez Lucero. Fue por la categor\u00eda Superligero a ocho rounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
